Step 1
DISC assessment and communication style
A DISC assessment is a behavioral profile that shows an agent partner's personality, strengths, and weaknesses. We use those results to match the agent's communication style to your preferences.

NookLocal matches buyers, sellers, and renters with agents after checking communication style, relevant experience, negotiation habits, availability, and follow-up. You do not pay NookLocal for the service.
Step 1
A DISC assessment is a behavioral profile that shows an agent partner's personality, strengths, and weaknesses. We use those results to match the agent's communication style to your preferences.
Step 2
We ask for recent examples in the category: first-time buyers, luxury homes, investors, relocation, probate, or another situation where the details matter.
Step 3
We ask how they structure offers, handle inspection fights, and read contract terms. The right agent should be able to explain what they will push on, what they will concede, and why.
Step 4
Agents agree to send NookLocal regular updates. Missed calls, late follow-up, or bad fit feedback affects future referrals.
Step 5
We review how the agent prepares buyers and sellers before showings, offers, inspections, appraisals, and listing launch. The agent should have a working process, not a license alone.
Step 6
The client should understand the decision they are making and trust the person explaining it.
Step 7
We saved the best for last. Reputation is the most important factor. Just like any other industry, people within the industry know who is good and who is not. We use that local insider knowledge to build the right relationships.
Tell us what you are trying to do, where you are looking, and what would make an agent easy or hard for you to work with.
Carmen at NookLocal reviews the request and matches you with a local agent whose background fits what you need.
If you already have an agent you trust, use them. This is for people who want help choosing.
Need a lender match instead? Use the full matching form.
No. NookLocal does not charge buyers, sellers, or renters for the agent matching service. If you close with an agent partner we introduced, that partner's broker pays NookLocal a referral fee or share of commission.
No. Agents cannot pay to receive your request. We choose one screened agent for the situation, and we do not broadcast the request to a list.
Tell us. We check in after the introduction, and that feedback affects both your match and whether that partner keeps getting future referrals.
